The Village Hall is available for hire for parties and other events. It is licensed for music and dancing Mon to Fri 0700 - 0100 & Sat 0700 - midnight.

 

If you want to sell alcohol you will need to obtain a licence called a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from Telford & Wrekin Council. The form can be obtained from the Secretary of the Village Hall. It’s not too involved to fill it in and you need to return it to the Council with a payment of £21.

 

If you are providing alcohol free to your guests or if they bring their own drink, you don’t need the extra licence.

 

If you are interested in booking the Hall then the first thing to do is ring or email the Secretary (01952 813520 pauladoherty@tiscali.co.uk) to see if the date you would like is free. She will pencil you in the diary and talk you through the costs and options. You will then be sent a Hiring Agreement and the Terms and Conditions of hire. Once you have filled in the Hiring Agreement return it with a deposit of 25% and a separate Security of £50. The Security is our way of ensuring that the Hall is left in a clean and tidy condition. It will be returned to you shortly after the event.

 

Once we have received the Hiring Agreement you will be issued with a Booking Confirmation confirming the details of the booking and any further payments to be made.
